About the Role
The Senior Mechatronics Integration Engineer will join the R&D organization as a pivotal contributor to the realization of a next-generation robotic platform designed to transform the future of healthcare. This role serves as a visible technical resource focused on the development of complex electro-mechanical assemblies, guiding projects from prototype through verification builds and tests within a regulated medical device environment.
The position is ideal for a hands-on, senior-level R&D engineer possessing multi-disciplinary knowledge spanning electrical, software, and mechanical domains. You will be responsible for integrating complex electromechanical systems, troubleshooting challenges, sustaining robotic systems, managing configuration and component inventories, and advising on design improvements to enhance process reliability.

Requirements
- verified10+ years work experience in complex electromechanical system R&D environment
- verifiedBachelor's and/or Masters degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a close field
- verifiedExperience in heavily-regulated industries such as medical device or aerospace
- verifiedHands-on experience in assembly and test of electro-mechanical systems
- verifiedExperience using, modifying, or programming in MATLAB, Simulink, or LabView
- verifiedExperience in cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership
- verifiedExperience in project management including task timeline estimation and work breakdown structures
- verifiedExperience developing production level and support documentation including bills of material (BOMs), assembly drawings, and maintenance instructions
Nice to Have
Bachelor's and/or Masters degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a close field. Experience in fixture and process validation. Previous experience in design transfer/new product introduction. Proficiency in Solidworks. Working knowledge of DFM/A, Six Sigma, and statistical tolerance analysis. Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and ECOs.
