Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division designs, manufactures, and services Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, batteries, and electronic-based products to ensure power reliability in the most demanding applications. Our employees deliver mission-critical solutions to our customers' most challenging energy management requirements. Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. We create an environment where creativity, invention, and discovery become reality each and every day.
As a Senior Compliance Professional, you will be a key member of a world-class organization creating market-leading UPS, distribution, and energy transition products. This hybrid role is based in Raleigh, NC, with a requirement for residency within 50 miles of the location (relocation benefits provided for candidates moving from within the United States). You will interface with multifunctional teams—including product design, validation testing, manufacturing, and product engineering—acting as a consultant and reviewer in matters of agency compliance.
Your day will involve developing unique strategies to uncover product compliance issues before products are built, bringing design issues and solutions to the forefront of discussions during product design reviews. You will analyze new and proposed requirements from geographical, national, and local code-writing organizations to determine their impact on products and recommend necessary changes. Additionally, you will develop compliance test plans, review test facilities and instrumentation, and supervise agency tests conducted by others. You will also analyze test data to determine validity and product compliance, prepare detailed product construction reports for submission to safety agencies, and promote safety and environmental compliance within the design and engineering teams.
Work in a modern hybrid collaborative environment where Eaton is committed to fostering a successful work/life balance. You will have the opportunity to reach your full potential while helping the company reach its own, supported by a competitive benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, vacation, and paid parental leave.
All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process. All candidates will be evaluated based on job-related competencies, and all candidates' privacy rights and data security will be protected in accordance with applicable laws.
We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees. Employment decisions are based upon job-related reasons regardless of an applicant's race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, marital status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other status protected by law.
Eaton believes in second chance employment. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction history will be considered regardless of their arrest or conviction history, consistent with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance, the California Fair Chance Act, and other local laws. You do not need to disclose your conviction history or participate in a background check until a conditional job offer is made to you. After making a conditional offer and running a background check, if Eaton is concerned about a conviction directly related to the job, you will be given the chance to explain the circumstances, provide mitigating evidence, or challenge the accuracy of the background report.
For those requiring assistance, Eaton provides reasonable accommodations for disability-related needs during the job search, application, or interview process. To request an accommodation, please call 1-800-836-6345. Only accommodation requests will be accepted by this phone number.
