About QAI Laboratories

QAI Laboratories is a leading testing, calibration, inspection, and certification organization serving manufacturers of electrical products, building products, vehicles, factory-built structures, and other regulated goods. Over the past few years, the recognition of the QAI name and logo has grown significantly, driving substantial business expansion and a commitment to long-term employee success.

About the Role

As a Quality Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity of QAI's quality system, accreditation status, and safety regulatory compliance. This position exists to ensure that our operations meet rigorous international standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

In this role, you will serve as a key representative during external audits conducted by various accreditation bodies and partner companies. Your day-to-day involves collaborating with employees to close Corrective Action Requests (CARs), preparing necessary documentation for accreditors, and tracking the status of audits and complaints to ensure all deadlines are met. You will also assist in accreditation scope expansion initiatives and help lead internal audits across local areas and the broader organization.

Beyond compliance, you will identify opportunities to enhance the local Quality Management System (QMS), recommending and implementing measures to drive improvements. This includes writing and revising policies and procedures, developing training plans, and overseeing the calibration program for various laboratory sites. You will work closely with the management team to identify risks and opportunities, develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and assist in the adoption of the QMS in new locations. Additionally, you will help ensure health and safety policies are followed, track safety inspections, and may learn the technical requirements of various business streams to provide added support.

Hiring Process

Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter via our careers page. For more information or to explore other opportunities, please visit qai.org/careers or contact the recruitment team at careers@qai.org.
