About the Role
You will join Finastra's Product Legal team—an internal group of attorneys and compliance professionals responsible for anticipating, interpreting, and operationalizing regulatory change across Finastra software products. The team monitors evolving legal and regulatory requirements, translates those requirements into clear product guidance, and partners with product, engineering, and leadership teams to embed compliance into product design and delivery.
In this role, you will help make legal complexity actionable and understandable for internal stakeholders and, ultimately, for Finastra's financial institution customers. Your work will directly influence how compliant functionality is delivered to market, supporting product managers, engineers, and leadership primarily within Finastra's Lending Business Unit, and across the organization as needed.
You will report to the Senior Director of Product Legal and will work at the intersection of regulatory compliance, product functionality, and risk management. This position is well suited for an attorney who is highly interested in applying regulatory analysis in a product development environment.

Requirements
- verifiedJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

- verifiedProficient in virtual meeting technologies (e.g., Teams)
