About the Role
As an Associate Attorney in Civil Litigation based in our Hartford, CT office, you will join a team dedicated to tackling complex cases across Insurance Defense, Professional Liability, Construction, Employment, Medical Malpractice Defense, and Long-Term Care. This role offers a hybrid work model, providing the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a strong work-life balance.
From day one, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience alongside top AV-rated attorneys. You will independently manage your own caseload from inception to conclusion, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while meticulously adhering to deadlines. Your day will include preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials, providing invaluable courtroom experience.
Collaboration is essential to your success. You will engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies. Regular communication will keep clients informed with status updates and written reports, all while conducting comprehensive legal research and writing memoranda to bolster case strategies. Working alongside seasoned partners and senior attorneys, you will ensure smooth case management in a supportive environment.

Requirements
