As the Compliance and Research Manager within the Benefits Administration Division, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring regulatory alignment with state laws and PERA rules. Your focus will be on member salaries, required contributions, membership, and post-retirement employment provisions. This role exists to drive results through a confident leadership style that builds trust and fosters individual growth.
You will be a big-picture thinker who interprets and applies law when necessary, translating vision and strategy to your staff. Day-to-day, you will manage project timelines, resolve escalated inquiries from employers, retirees, and members, and analyze data to develop compliance strategies. You will partner with senior management and other divisions to improve operational systems and processes, ensuring your team has the resources needed to provide timely and accurate solutions.
