This role exists to uphold the company's contractual and legal obligations while protecting the interests of Farm Bureau insureds. By managing cases that exceed the expertise of standard claim representatives, the specialist aids in the retention and growth of business through professional and fair claim dispositions.
In this position, you will investigate, control, and negotiate complex casualty claims, applying advanced skills to achieve effective settlements. You will also direct major casualty litigation files, managing defense attorney activities and promoting appropriate reserving practices. The role requires a deep understanding of negotiation tools, including structured settlements, to navigate multi-line field work involving liability, workers' compensation, and no-fault claims.
