Our client is a $90 billion AUM asset management firm seeking a Compensation Manager to join its Strategic Accounting & Finance team. This role is based in Manhattan, New York, and operates within a complex financial services environment featuring multiple teams and geographies.
As a Compensation Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner to HR, Finance, and leadership, driving the integrity and competitiveness of the firm's total rewards strategy. You will manage the full lifecycle of annual and mid-year compensation cycles, from planning and data validation to system administration. Your work will directly influence pay decisions for hires, promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments by leveraging both market benchmarks and internal data analysis.
In this position, you will ensure the organization maintains competitive and consistent compensation practices while navigating evolving regulations and supporting pay equity initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Payroll, Finance, and business units to resolve compensation issues, manage budgets, and deliver actionable insights that support the firm's broader financial goals.
