About the Role
As a Community Health Communications Specialist, you will lead the development and execution of innovative outreach initiatives that make a real difference in our community. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team to design and implement cutting-edge communication strategies. You will be responsible for developing and evaluating campaigns that promote youth substance use prevention and support community health.
In this position, you will engage in advocacy efforts and uphold the values of trauma-informed care, respect, and empowerment in all interactions. You will have the chance to participate in local and state advocacy groups, enhancing your skills and leading with purpose. This is a role for someone passionate about creating impactful health communication campaigns who is ready to make a tangible difference.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree with 5+ years experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years experience in communication, marketing, behavioral health, or related field
- verifiedAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, videoconferencing, and online reporting systems
- verifiedValid driver's license and private insurance
- verifiedHome internet connection
- verifiedAbility to obtain DCFS CANTS Child Abuse Clearance
