The Communications & Development Assistant will support ECR's communications and development initiatives through visual storytelling, content creation, social media support, and data-driven communications. This part-time role (10–15 hours per week) focuses on capturing and organizing high-quality visual assets that demonstrate donor impact, support fundraising and engagement efforts, and increase awareness of ECR programs across digital platforms.
You will assist in producing content for print and digital channels, support social media planning and analytics, and contribute to internal communications through effective asset management and documentation. A key component of this position is gaining hands-on experience supporting the implementation of a new AI-driven social media and fundraising platform. You will help organize foundational data, messaging, and donor information to support future campaign optimization.
This role offers practical experience in nonprofit communications, philanthropy storytelling, audience engagement strategy, and emerging communications technology. The position is headquartered at the Easterseals Chicago Location at 1939 W 13th Street, Chicago, IL 60608.
