We are seeking a Commissioning Manager based in Houston, Texas, to coordinate the job site installation and startup of equipment. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our internal Project Managers and our customers, ensuring seamless execution from site inspection to final commissioning.
Your day-to-day involves conducting site inspections, generating detailed reports, and managing interfaces with contractors. You will guide CMCo technicians on-site, ensuring that mechanical and electrical equipment is installed and started up according to specifications. Success in this position requires the ability to manage multiple start-up sites simultaneously while navigating a fast-paced environment with competing demands. You will be responsible for interpreting wiring diagrams and layout drawings, responding to inquiries regarding submittals, and utilizing strong mediation and negotiation skills to resolve challenges.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to our values and possess the technical acumen to handle complex installation projects. Qualified applicants should have a minimum of three years of experience in construction management and a proven track record of managing the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
