As a Commercial Specialist, you will be a key player in AutoZone's commercial sales and service operations. This role is designed to drive WOW! customer service, increase commercial sales, and ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery. You will combine customer service, sales support, and logistics coordination, with opportunities to lead and grow within the department.
In this position, you will serve as a vital link between our commercial customers and our operations. Your day will involve assisting customers with product selection, managing orders, and maintaining accurate billing records to ensure on-time deliveries. You will conduct account visits to build lasting relationships and ensure service quality, while also generating new business through bound calls and in-person outreach.
Beyond customer interaction, you will play a critical role in our logistics and safety operations. This includes documenting and inspecting all deliveries for accuracy and condition, monitoring vehicle maintenance and safety, and managing battery consignment inventory. You will also handle returns and accident procedures according to company policy. In the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager, you will lead the commercial department, promoting a safe and compliant work environment for all team members.
