About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team. Whether you have existing experience in the space or are eager to learn, this role is designed for someone open to perfecting their skillset while collaborating with our team and clients. You will serve as a vital link between project requirements and financial planning, ensuring accurate material, fabrication, and labor quotes.
Your day will involve analyzing blueprints and specifications to prepare detailed bids and abstracts. You will compute cost factors to assist management in planning, scheduling, and vendor selection. A significant portion of your time will be spent in the field attending job walks to measure roof sites, note variables, and gather essential data. You will also consult with subcontractors and vendors to resolve issues and maintain positive rapport with property managers and general contractors.
