Its operations are organized into five distinct global business segments: Retail & Commercial Banking, Digital Consumer Bank, Corporate & Investment Banking, Wealth Management & Insurance, and Payments. As of the first quarter of 2024, the group reported total funds of €1.3 trillion, serving 166 million customers. The bank maintains a significant physical and human presence, operating 8,400 branches and employing 211,000 people worldwide.
