We are hiring Commercial Electricians at all levels, from Helpers and Apprentices to Mechanics and Journeymen. This role is designed for individuals ready to contribute to essential electrical infrastructure projects across various commercial sites.
The position involves a dynamic day-to-day workflow where you will read blueprints and technical documents to guide your work. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit, as well as connecting wires to circuit breakers and transformers. The role requires assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical components and systems, often necessitating work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs. You will also perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches, moving heavy objects, and fabricating parts according to specifications.
In addition to core electrical work, you may install low-voltage systems including electronic fire alarms, pull stations, strobes, horns, detectors, and exit signs. A key aspect of this role is collaboration; you will be expected to direct the work of less experienced employees and assist them as needed. Success in this position requires a good attitude, the ability to work well with others, and the availability to work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as required.
Candidates must possess reliable transportation, PPE, and their own basic tools for the trade. While specific experience requirements vary by level (e.g., 2 years for Mechanics, 5 years for Journeymen), a fundamental requirement for all applicants is the ability to speak, read, and write English.
