About the Role
As a Commercial Construction Superintendent for our GovCloud project, you will direct the workflow of the project on site, ensuring consistency with the project schedule and HITT's rigorous safety and quality standards. You will serve as the primary leader on site, acting as the vital liaison between project team members to promote the interests of both the business and our clients.
In this mid-level leadership role, you will communicate project priorities to site staff and all subcontractors, fostering a collaborative environment. Your day-to-day involves managing a safe jobsite, maintaining daily logs of activities and site conditions, and overseeing the punch list and closeout process through owner and architect acceptance. You will work closely with the Project Manager to formulate schedules, ensuring proper methods and sequences of installation are followed while maintaining high-quality standards.
Beyond technical execution, you will develop and organize the site team, arrange temporary facilities, and identify long-lead items for expedited delivery. A key part of your mission is building strong relationships with subcontractors and the local community to enhance business opportunities, ensuring all partners are treated fairly and that work orders are documented accurately to avoid unnecessary change orders.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces, weekend work, fast paced project experience. Previous experience in a superintendent or project lead role. OSHA 30 Certification.
