When childhood friends Holly and Shawn stepped away from their corporate careers to start Rook Coffee in 2010, their mission was simple: make people feel special. Since the beginning, operating out of a humble 300-square-foot shack, Rook has focused on offering specialty coffees that inspire genuine, human connections.

Today, we are looking for energetic and hard-working individuals to continue building those connections. This role is based in our brewery, the heart of our operation where we brew our amazing coffee and cold brew products. Here, team members play a critical role in the production process, working alongside roasters and brewers to maintain strict safety and quality standards.

The Role

No prior coffee experience is necessary; we provide full training! This is a hands-on, part-time position ideal for someone who loves being active and is eager to learn the intricacies of the coffee roasting and cold brewing process. You will be the backbone of our production floor, ensuring our products meet Rook's highest standards from start to finish.

Your day will involve producing cold brew, managing inventory of green coffee, and handling the logistics of receiving and organizing supplies. You will also be responsible for the meticulous care of our equipment, including routine maintenance, cleaning, and organization of mash tuns, kegs, taps, lines, roasters, and packaging machinery. Additionally, you will assist with merchandise organization and distribution.

If you are a positive, patient, sociable, reliable, and honest team player with a desire to work at Rook for a minimum of six months, we'd love to hear from you. Weekend availability and the ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs are required.
