About the Role
As a Cocktail Server - Pool at The Venetian Resort, you will be the face of hospitality for our guests, delivering prompt and accurate beverage service in a vibrant, high-energy environment. This role exists to ensure every guest interaction is memorable, combining exceptional service with a deep knowledge of our extensive beverage program and the resort's amenities.
You will thrive in a fast-paced setting where you manage multiple tasks while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor. Your day involves proactively engaging with pool guests, taking drink orders, up-selling premium selections, and delivering high-quality beverages with speed and precision. Beyond serving drinks, you will act as a knowledgeable guide, providing accurate directions and information about Venetian and Palazzo services, attractions, promotions, and special events.
Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in both guest-facing areas and heart-of-house workspaces is essential. You will handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy, manage guest flow, and ensure a safe, enjoyable atmosphere for all. Success in this role requires the ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively with diverse teams and guests, and uphold the professional conduct expected of The Venetian Resort Team Members.
