As a Cocktail Server in our upscale resort lounge, you will be the face of exceptional beverage service, delivering an elevated guest experience to every visitor. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating memorable moments for our guests. You will work collaboratively with bartenders and the wider team to ensure seamless service, from taking accurate orders to managing financial transactions with precision.
Your day will involve navigating a vibrant, high-volume setting where attention to detail and a friendly, professional demeanor are essential. You will be expected to proactively identify service opportunities, offer informed suggestions on our extensive menu of house drinks, wines, and spirits, and drive financial goals through thoughtful up-selling. Beyond serving drinks, you will act as a knowledgeable guide, providing guests with accurate information about The Venetian Resort's amenities, attractions, and special events.

To be considered for this position, candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess proof of authorization to work in the United States. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications, such as a Health card and Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card, as mandated by law.
We seek candidates with at least three years of cocktail service experience in a high-volume cash-handling setting. Familiarity with beverage terminology, glassware, and customer ordering practices for beers, wines, and spirits is essential. Previous experience in a pool or nightclub environment is preferred.
Interested applicants should ensure they possess superior customer service skills and the ability to operate POS systems accurately. We offer varied shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and require the physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 10 pounds.
