The Controls Engineer Co-Op serves as a vital support member across all phases of controls projects. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers and established guidelines, you will assist in concept and research, estimating, component selection, network design, and panel layout. The role extends to device troubleshooting, PLC and HMI programming, on-site installation, debugging, and after-sales support.
This position offers a dynamic blend of office-based design work and field locations, requiring travel up to 50% to customer facilities. You will collaborate within a success-driven culture, contributing to project teams while developing layouts for electrical circuits and creating detailed schematics and documentation.
The role operates in both office settings and field locations. While general office hours are Monday through Friday (7a-4p or 8a-5p), the schedule is flexible to accommodate job site requirements and project needs, which may include working non-business hours.
