This Temp to Hire opportunity is for a CNC Machining Technician based in Buffalo, MN. The role is designed for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who are eager to learn or further their skills in CNC operation. You will join a small, skilled team to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards in a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
As a CNC Machining Technician, you will bridge the gap between digital design and physical manufacturing. Your day will involve using Mastercam to program CNC machines and generate toolpaths for a variety of components. You will operate and troubleshoot HAAS vertical milling machines, pulling up and interpreting digital part prints, 3D models, and technical drawings.
Precision is key to this position. You will perform measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part accuracy, while also cutting and prepping raw steel for machining operations. The role requires maintaining digital documentation of work performed, adjustments made, and quality checks. You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure all jobs are completed to specification.

Previous experience in CNC operation, mold making, tool & die, or mechanical engineering. Understanding of machining tolerances, feeds/speeds, material types, and digital workflows. 50lbs lifting and able to stand for most of the shift.
