You will join the largest long-term care facility in South Dakota, located at the Sioux Falls Village. This facility offers a comprehensive range of services, including general long-term care, short-stay rehabilitation, and a dedicated memory care unit.
As a Restorative Nursing Aide, you will serve as a vital caregiver and a member of the nursing team. Your day will involve partnering with residents to implement therapeutic activities designed to improve their quality of life. You will guide residents through mobility, balance, and strengthening exercises, utilizing adaptive equipment and fall prevention techniques. Your role extends to assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and eating, while ensuring correct body mechanics and infection prevention protocols are strictly followed.
You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver age-appropriate care that addresses both the physical and psychological needs of our seniors. By documenting resident progress and promptly reporting changes in condition, you play a key role in maintaining the safety and well-being of our community.

This position is a full-time, 8-hour day shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) with a rotation of every other weekend and holidays.
