Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. We are committed to delivering quality care and service within a Christian environment, fostering a community where compassion and dignity are at the forefront of everything we do.
As a Nursing Assistant at our Bismarck facility, you will serve as a vital caregiver to our residents during evening shifts. You will be an integral member of the nursing team, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your role focuses on meeting the physical and psychological needs of our seniors, ensuring they receive age-appropriate care tailored to their individual care plans.
Your day will involve assisting residents with essential activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing, while also providing psychosocial support. You will help residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques, and assist with meals and snacks to create a positive dining experience. Additionally, you will document resident interactions, communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse, and support wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participation.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package and paid time off for qualifying positions, along with a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Our team enjoys additional perks including daycare partnerships within the community, scholarships and sponsorships for further learning, and direct access to earnings daily. Shift differentials are available for night, weekend, and pick-up shifts.
Candidates must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or be enrolled in a training program to obtain certification within four months of starting. The facility provides CNA training and certification. All offers are contingent upon a drug screen and pre-employment background screening in accordance with our Drug Free Workplace Policy.
