About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will serve as a vital support to the nursing team, delivering high-quality, compassionate care to residents. The Day-to-Day Experience

Your day will be dynamic and active, requiring you to balance physical care with emotional support. You will be the first point of contact for residents, promptly responding to call lights and addressing their immediate needs. This involves assisting with feeding, ambulation, positioning, and personal hygiene while respecting personal dignity and privacy.

Safety is paramount in your daily routine. You will be responsible for recognizing changes in a resident's condition, reporting them to the Nurse Manager, and adhering strictly to infection control, fire safety, and safe patient handling procedures. Whether participating in emergency drills or managing a busy workload, you will apply proper body mechanics and lifting techniques to ensure the safety of both residents and yourself.

Hiring and Interview Process

Candidates must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state, or be prepared to complete the state-required competency evaluation program within four months of employment. The selection process includes a review of qualifications, a criminal background investigation, drug screening, and reference inquiries to ensure compliance with all local health regulations.
