About the Role
The CMMS Specialist (Maximo) serves as the critical bridge between maintenance, operations, engineering, and IT teams. In this capacity, you will ensure the optimal performance and data integrity of the IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management system. Your work directly enables proactive maintenance planning, reliable asset tracking, and compliance reporting, acting as the primary guardian of the organization's asset data.
Day in the Life
Your day involves managing the full lifecycle of the Maximo environment, from configuring user access and security groups to optimizing preventive maintenance schedules based on OEM recommendations. You will oversee work orders from generation to closure, ensuring accurate capture of labor and materials. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to developing KPI reports on metrics like schedule attainment and mean time between failures, as well as providing training and support to planners, supervisors, and technicians.
Working Environment
This is a hybrid office-based position requiring a balance of in-person and electronic interactions with Maximo users. The role is salaried and operates within a dynamic, high-demand setting where managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines is essential. While the position is based in the office, it includes extensive travel to various locations within your area of responsibility to support on-site needs.
