This position serves as a vital link in our senior living communities, providing direct supervision of care giving to ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity while recognizing their individual needs and encouraging independence. The goal is to foster a homelike atmosphere throughout the community.
In this role, you will manage the daily rhythm of care, coordinating training for staff, verifying hours, and creating nursing schedules to ensure proper coverage. You will act as a key observer of resident health, monitoring status, addressing concerns within your scope of practice, and reporting significant changes to the Health and Wellness Director. Your responsibilities extend to assisting with medication management, ensuring safety and infection control, and communicating regularly with families regarding resident needs and achievements. You will also participate in service plan reviews, maintain accurate resident charts, and engage in community functions to build a supportive environment.
