About the Role
This position serves as a vital link in our research ecosystem, providing and coordinating clinical care for research subjects. The role exists to assure participant safety, maintain the integrity of informed consent, ensure accurate data collection, and support the seamless implementation of study protocols.
In this capacity, you will work under minimal supervision to support the Principal Investigator and the broader research team. Your day-to-day involves administering investigational drugs, conducting detailed clinical assessments, and performing laboratory tests. You will be the first line of defense in monitoring participant responses to study interventions, managing adverse events, and providing essential patient education to study participants and their families regarding medication dosage and disease treatment.
Beyond direct patient care, you will play a central role in study coordination and data management. This includes managing subject recruitment and enrollment, ensuring consistency in study implementation, and maintaining rigorous compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements. You will also assist in opening new studies by gathering background materials, completing feasibility questionnaires, and developing workflow procedures for the study team.
