The Clinical Research Associate I works directly with a Clinical Research Coordinator, Research Program Administrator, or Research Nurse to coordinate and implement studies. This role is pivotal in evaluating and abstracting research data to ensure strict compliance with protocols and research objectives.
In this position, you will complete case report forms, enter clinical research data into sponsor-provided Electronic Data Systems, and assist with regulatory submissions to the Institutional Review Board (IRB). You will also provide limited patient contact as needed for study purposes and assist with study budgets and patient research billing. The role requires adherence to all federal, local, FDA, IRB, and HIPAA guidelines and regulations pertaining to the study and patient care.
