As a Clinical Research Assistant B within the Perelman School of Medicine, you will provide essential support for clinical trials coordinated within the unit. Working under general supervision, you will assist research staff with a variety of tasks to support ongoing clinical research studies. This role serves as a vital link between the research team, clinical coordinators, and study participants, ensuring the smooth execution of protocols and regulatory compliance.
You will collaborate closely with Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) and Clinical Research Nurses (CRNs) to identify potential issues, attend study-related meetings, and assist investigators with publications and presentations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining documentation, organizing study binders, and managing the preparation and submission of regulatory documents to the Institutional Review Board. Additionally, you will coordinate research specimen collection and delivery, process and ship biological samples, and maintain timely telephone follow-ups with study patients as dictated by protocol.
