The Clinical Quality Improvement Nurse Educator serves as a strategic partner in advancing the health status of individuals with chronic conditions, including complex medical, mental health, and psychosocial issues. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer and the Vice President of Nursing, this position is essential for managing the development, coordination, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives and staff education across CHN.
The role focuses on integrating a Population Health-focused approach to improve the quality of care delivered. You will collaborate with nursing management and staff across all departments to assess, plan, and revise educational programming for both licensed and non-licensed personnel. This position acts as a bridge between clinical operations and quality assurance, ensuring that care delivery aligns with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
Working within the Medical Affairs and Population Health Departments, you will help drive a culture of continuous improvement. Your work directly impacts patient safety, care appropriateness, and satisfaction by monitoring the full spectrum of services provided. You will serve as a role model and mentor, guiding nursing staff through professional growth and clinical practice while fostering an environment of safety and environmental responsibility.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a standard interview process involving a review of clinical experience, educational philosophy, and quality improvement methodology. Finalists will meet with the Chief Medical Officer and the Vice President of Nursing to discuss strategic alignment and team fit.
