About the Initiative

This role supports a grant-funded initiative designed to expand pediatric access, improve early identification of developmental and behavioral health needs, and enhance continuity of care through integrated, team-based models. The position operates within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to serving diverse, underserved, and marginalized populations.

About the Role

The Clinical Psychologist delivers trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care to children and adolescents, with the flexibility to serve adults and seniors as needed. The work is dynamic and mobile, extending beyond traditional office settings to include school clinics, community drop-in centers, supportive housing, and street outreach in encampments and shelters.

You will collaborate closely with primary care providers, psychiatrists, care coordinators, and community partners to address mental, emotional, social, and substance-use challenges. The day-to-day involves a blend of comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnostic reporting, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and client advocacy. This role is critical for resolving individual barriers to care and ensuring compliance with federal and state standards while participating in quality improvement initiatives.
