As a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nurse, you will serve as a clinical resource and consultant for the acute and rehabilitative care of patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. This includes managing complex draining wounds, fistulae, pressure ulcers, vascular ulcers, ostomies, percutaneous tubes, and continence disorders.
Your professional responsibilities will be carried out through direct patient care, clinical coordination, education, research, and administration. You will collaborate with leaders to establish best practices, provide education to both staff and patients, and deliver consultation and resources. This role is designed to ensure you have the staffing support, technology, and robust supply chains needed to work efficiently and focus on delivering safe, high-quality care.
