As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in San Dimas, CA, you will serve as a vital technical consultant and section supervisor within our partner healthcare facility. This per diem, night-shift role is designed for a skilled professional who functions as a leader, responsible for the daily operation, technical management, and fiscal oversight of the laboratory section.
In this position, you will ensure the accuracy of patient results and maintain strict compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing quality management programs, assessing staff competency, and performing a wide variety of complex laboratory procedures across disciplines such as Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Immunology. You will also play a key role in performance improvement initiatives, equipment maintenance, and the development of departmental policies.
