The Center for Team Care (CTC) is dedicated to keeping VCU Health employees healthy through accessible, patient-centered care. Our team works alongside providers, nurses, pharmacists, and care coordinators to manage chronic conditions, encourage prevention, and support overall wellness for employees and their families.
As a Dietitian, you will provide personalized nutrition guidance, lifestyle coaching, and support. Your day will involve conducting nutrition assessments, creating individualized care plans, and leading both one-on-one and group education sessions. You will play a key role in modifying diets, managing enteral tube feedings, and communicating with the healthcare team and food service managers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
This is a hybrid position designed for someone with a passion for helping others improve their health. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and adapting to frequent changes while maintaining a strong focus on the Code of Ethics for the profession of dietetics.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field and be registered as a Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. For Clinical Dietitian I roles, registry eligibility is accepted provided the RD exam is passed within the first six months of employment. Advancement to Clinical Nutrition II is required one year after passing the exam.
