About the Role
As a Charge Nurse at Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA), you will serve as a vital leader in our mission to support patient care while upholding our core values and compliance standards. This role is designed to ensure the continuity of safe, effective, and cost-efficient clinical operations. You will manage daily decisions to maintain patient and staff safety, acting as the primary resource for your team during critical moments and routine care alike.
In this position, you will guide direct patient care staff, providing ongoing feedback and participating in performance evaluations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing shift operations, coordinating with the Facility Administrator on staffing and personnel matters, and ensuring strict adherence to state and federal regulations. You will also play a key role in patient education, helping patients and families understand End Stage Renal Disease and dialysis therapy, while serving as a subject matter expert for your team.

Requirements
