As a Clinical Assistant at our Flormann St. Primary Care clinic in Rapid City, SD, you will work collaboratively both under supervision and independently to provide direct and indirect patient care. You will participate as an active member of the healthcare team, performing assigned tasks and functions for which you have received training in accordance with Monument Health policies and procedures.
Your day will involve preparing examination and treatment areas, rooming patients, collecting vital signs, and assisting with point-of-care laboratory testing. You will ensure documentation in patient records is accurate, clear, and concise, while also handling clerical activities and supply maintenance. In some locations, you may also assist the medical imaging department with limited x-ray exams.

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies. 80 hours of initial training in radiation safety, positioning, image review. Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - South Dakota Board of Nursing.
