The Client Relationship Executive (CRE) serves as the primary client-facing representative for Steampunk, focusing on identifying, cultivating, and advancing customer relationships that directly generate new business. This role is specifically dedicated to engaging with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clients, though experience with other Federal agencies is valuable.
In this position, you will act as a strategic partner to our clients, moving beyond simple sales to shape acquisition strategies and build mature, long-term partnerships. Your day-to-day involves analyzing industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify new vehicles for opportunity. You will work closely with capture resources to develop win strategies and execute client call plans that assess win probability. By representing Steampunk within industry associations and groups, you will increase brand awareness and cultivate broad relationships with new partners and vendors to accelerate growth.
Success in this role requires an active listener who asks probing questions to understand the client environment and drive opportunities. You will interact routinely with all levels of Steampunk's Sector, Division, and Operations management, owning and prioritizing action items to ensure follow-through. This is a high-energy role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and possesses the interpersonal skills to engage effectively at every level of an organization.
