About the Role

This strategic consultant role is responsible for managing a book of business and nurturing business relationships for existing accounts, either directly or through intermediaries. You will act as a trusted advisor, focusing on renewing accounts and selling new products and services to ensure the retention and growth of profitable business. The role specifically targets experience with TPA (Third Party Administrators) and self-funded clients in the health insurance space.

Day in the Life

You will partner with senior-level clients, consultants, and brokers to create valued business partnerships. Your day involves reviewing new products and technologies to drive sales, developing tailored sales solutions amidst a changing political and competitive landscape, and executing business plans to enhance profitability. You will serve as the primary group contact for strategic planning, conducting routine service calls, and advocating for escalated service issues to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, you will lead internal partners in delivering client strategies and prepare business programs for territory-specific action plans.

Hiring Process

Candidates must possess a State-specific Producer License for Life, Accident & Health, or be able to obtain one within 45 days of hire. The role is remote-based with a travel requirement of 25% to 50% to various work sites.
