The Positive Education Program (PEP) in Phoenix seeks a dedicated Student Support Services professional to join our team. This role is central to our mission of providing comprehensive education services for students with autism and developmental delays. You will serve as a vital extension of the classroom teaching team, ensuring that every student receives the structured, trauma-informed support they need to thrive.
Working within the PEP Phoenix facility, you will be immersed in a collaborative environment guided by the Sanctuary Model, the Neurosequential Model, and the Re-ED philosophy. Your day-to-day life involves close supervision of students during instructional activities, assisting with personal care needs, and maintaining a safe, organized learning environment. You will also play an active role in community integration, transporting students to volunteer sites and therapeutic outdoor activities.
We believe in a holistic approach to education that prioritizes safety, dignity, and growth. As a member of our staff, you will be expected to embody our agency's values, presenting yourself with decorum and treating every client with cultural respect. Whether you are collecting behavioral data, preparing visual displays, or participating in parent conferences, your work directly contributes to the well-being and educational progress of our students.
Interested candidates should submit their application through the district portal. Please ensure your resume highlights any relevant experience working with children with developmental delays and your ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
