About the Team

TeamQRT Group has been delivering Thomas Built School Buses since 1980. As a specialized OTR bus transport company, we operate differently than traditional driveaway firms. Our core mission is to move new vehicles safely and efficiently from our High Point, NC hub to delivery locations across the U.S. and Canada.

About the Role

This is an Independent Contractor position focused on driving new Thomas Built School Buses. You will travel in a convoy with other drivers, with one driver per vehicle. The role requires you to pick up vehicles in High Point, NC, and deliver them to varying customer locations. After a delivery is complete, the group travels back to the pick-up location together.

While the position is OTR (Over-The-Road) and may require staying on the road for multiple days, you have the flexibility to select your trips. To remain active, drivers are required to complete at least one trip per month. Success in this role depends on your ability to maintain vehicle condition, adhere to strict timing for pick-ups and drop-offs, and manage all necessary paperwork for payout.

Hiring Process & Application

All candidates must attend an in-person onboarding session in High Point, NC. We require a local road test as part of the qualification process. Please note that ride-share driving experience (Uber, Lyft) does not count toward our experience requirements.

Applicants with a completed SAP program must be at least 7 years clear of completion to be considered. Additionally, any accidents in the last 3 years must be supported by a formal accident report before an application can be processed.
