About the Role

The Lead Support Driver is a critical safety-sensitive role designed to ensure continuity of operations across our regional networks. You will be expected to travel to various locations to cover for regular route collection drivers during vacation, sick leave, or other business needs. While the company strives to keep Lead Support drivers within their own region, you may occasionally travel outside the region to fill open routes, which could require extended stays of up to two weeks. When travel is necessary and approved by management, all company-related expenses, including rental vehicles, airfare, hotels, and meals, are fully covered.

This position requires a clear mind and diligence, as you are responsible for your own safety as well as the safety of others. You will serve as the backbone of our logistics, ensuring that waste collection and material transport continue seamlessly regardless of staffing fluctuations. The role demands a safety-first mindset, where you identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action to maintain a secure environment for coworkers, customers, and the public.
