Denali (Organix) is a trailblazer in the waste recycling industry, spanning 46 states and serving a vast network of over 10,000 retail supermarkets and food manufacturing plants. Our mission is to make a real impact in reducing food waste, driving change toward a greener and more sustainable future. We are deeply committed to our employees' success and growth, offering specialized training programs, safety initiatives, and invaluable mentoring to help you navigate your career path.
As a Class A Depack Lead Support Driver, you will be the backbone of our operations, filling in for regular route collection drivers to cover vacation time, sick leave, or other business needs. While the company strives to keep drivers traveling within their region, you may occasionally travel outside your region to fill open routes. This role is about more than just driving trucks; it is about ensuring seamless operations across intra- and interstate routes, maintaining equipment, and upholding our commitment to safety excellence.
You will be part of a team that prioritizes your well-being, with access to resources designed to elevate your skills. Whether you are operating combination vehicles, managing electronic logging systems, or communicating with customers and vendors, your work directly supports our goal of reducing food waste. The role requires flexibility, as you may be scheduled for day, weekend, or night shifts, and may work up to 60 hours in a 7-day week or 70 hours in an 8-day week depending on seasonality.
At Denali, we take pride in keeping our employees safe so they can return to their families each evening. We proudly offer the PEAKS Safety Program, which recognizes and rewards drivers who consistently prioritize safety in their daily operations. Additionally, we foster a secure work environment through our Employee Referral Program, allowing current team members to earn bonuses for qualifying candidates.
Interested candidates should apply directly through our career channels. The selection process includes a review of qualifications, a pre-employment drug screen, and verification of a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and PSP. Successful candidates will be invited to discuss their fit for the team and the specific operational needs of the Columbus, Dayton, or Cleveland regions.
It is the policy of the Company to provide equal employment opportunity for all employees. We will not engage in any form of employment discrimination based on race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, or any other legally protected status. We affirm our desire to maintain a work environment free from all forms of unlawful employment discrimination.
