About the Role

We are hiring experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional and Over-The-Road (OTR) routes in the western region of America. As a driver, you will be transporting important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. This opportunity is based out of our Spokane, WA terminal in Division 200.

Our modern flatbed trucks are meticulously maintained for your safety and comfort. Every tractor is equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including lane departure and forward collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. If a truck needs repairs, it will not go out until it is 100% ready to hit the road again safely with you at the wheel.

Day in the Life

You will drive the newest flatbed trucks equipped with the latest safety features. Flatbed drivers tarp approximately 70% of our loads; therefore, you must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. This requirement will be tested during orientation.

We offer a driver portal with an award-winning app made for drivers by drivers. Through this portal, you can receive real-time updates and alerts, access your pay and current trip data, view messages and notifications, check available PTO, and contact support. Our 24/7/365 road service staff and shops are always available to assist you.

Hiring Process & Application

To join our team, you must meet specific qualifications, including holding a valid Class A CDL, being 21 years of age or older, and maintaining a safe driving record. We require no more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years, a minimum of 4 months of driving experience, and a clean background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse result.

Changing jobs is never easy, which is why we offer a $1,800 Transition Package. This includes $1,000 allotted for orientation for your first two weeks, allowing you to focus on driving while we take care of the rest.

Culture & Policies

Home Time: This opportunity offers a schedule of 3 weeks out, followed by 3 days off. Home time may vary by division, but this specific role is for Division 200.

Pet & Guest Rider Policy: System Transport does not allow pets. However, we allow riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving.
