System Transport has been hauling what builds America since 1972. We combine the resources of a large company with the personal feel of a small one, serving as a home for drivers who want to keep the country running. Our mission is to transport critical goods and materials—including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals—while maintaining a culture of "America Proud, Flatbed Strong."
We are seeking experienced CDL-A Flatbed Truck Drivers for our Division 200 team based in Spokane, WA. In this role, you will operate over-the-road (OTR) routes in the western region of America. You will be responsible for transporting heavy and specialized cargo, which includes tarping loads approximately 70% of the time. To ensure safety and efficiency, you must be physically capable of lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice.
You will drive a fleet of modern, meticulously maintained flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies, including lane departure and forward collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. Our commitment to your safety means that no truck leaves the shop until it is 100% ready for the road. You will also have access to our award-winning Driver Portal, an app designed by drivers for drivers that provides real-time updates, pay access, trip data, and 24/7 support.
To join our team, you must meet specific safety and experience qualifications, including a valid Class A CDL, being at least 21 years old, and maintaining a safe driving record. Candidates must have no more than six jobs in the last three years and possess at least four months of driving experience. A background check, clean drug test, and clean Clearinghouse result are required. Additionally, all flatbed candidates must pass a physical test during orientation to demonstrate the ability to handle tarping duties.
We understand that changing jobs is difficult, which is why we offer a $1,800 Transition Package to support you during your first two weeks. For more information regarding our pay package or to begin the application process, please call 1-866-725-5083. Applications are accepted until the deadline of May 31, 2026.
System Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fair pay and equal opportunity for all employees. We prioritize driver safety and comfort, offering 24/7/365 road service staff and shops to ensure you are never stranded. While we do not allow pets, we do permit riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving. We invite you to become part of a team that values your contribution to the nation's infrastructure.
