System Transport has been hauling what builds America since 1972. We combine the resources of a large organization with the close-knit feel of a small company. Our mission is to keep the country running with dedicated drivers behind the wheel, embodying the spirit of "America Proud, Flatbed Strong."
We are seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers to join our Division 272 team based in Denver, CO. In this role, you will transport critical goods and materials, including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. This position offers regional routes with a commitment to home time on weekends.
Our fleet consists of modern flatbed trucks meticulously maintained for your safety and comfort. Every tractor is equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including lane departure and forward-collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. We ensure that no truck leaves the shop until it is 100% ready for the road.
Drivers benefit from a supportive culture where safety is paramount. Whether you need advice on load securement or require assistance, our team is there to lend a hand. We also provide a robust Driver Portal with an award-winning app for real-time updates, pay access, and trip data.
To join our team, candidates must meet specific qualifications, including a valid Class A CDL, being at least 21 years old, and maintaining a safe driving record. A background check, clean drug test, and clean Clearinghouse result are required. Additionally, flatbed drivers must be physically capable of lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice, a test conducted during orientation.
We understand that changing jobs is never easy. To support your transition, we offer a $1,800 Transition Package, with $1,000 allocated for orientation during your first two weeks. Speak with a recruiter to determine which route is right for you and to begin the application process.
System Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fair pay and equal opportunity for all employees. We foster a family environment where drivers feel valued and supported. While we do not allow pets, we do permit riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving.
Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a Health Savings Account, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program. Drivers accrue sick time and PTO based on tenure, with 80 hours available after 1-9 years and 120 hours after 10+ years.
Our drivers describe System Transport as a solid company with a family feel. One driver noted, "They take safety and their equipment serious," while another shared, "We are a family at this company. The drivers are a great group." Many have grown with the company, transitioning from company drivers to trainers or even owner-operators, citing the supportive environment and reliable home time as key factors in their decision to stay.
