About the Role

We are hiring experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional and Over-The-Road (OTR) routes in the western region of America. As a driver, you will be transporting important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. This opportunity is for Division 200, based out of the Spokane, WA terminal.

Our commitment to your safety is paramount. When you drive for System Transport, you will drive the newest flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge technologies for your comfort and safety. Our modern trucks are meticulously maintained; every tractor is equipped with lane departure and forward collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. If a truck needs repairs, it does not go out until it is 100% ready to hit the road again safely.

Day in the Life

You will be part of a team that values your well-being. We offer a transition package that invests in you, including orientation pay for your first two weeks so you can focus on driving while we take care of the rest. Drivers have access to an award-winning app made for drivers by drivers, providing real-time updates, pay access, trip data, and direct communication with support staff available 24/7/365.

Regarding home time, this specific opportunity offers a schedule of 3 weeks out, followed by 3 days off. While home time can vary by division, our recruiters are ready to help you find the route that is right for you. Please note that System Transport does not allow pets, but riders aged 7 and up are permitted after 90 days of safe driving.

Hiring Process

To join our team, you must meet specific qualifications, including holding a valid Class A CDL, being at least 21 years old, and maintaining a safe driving record. Candidates must have no more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years and possess at least 4 months of driving experience. A background check, clean drug test, and clean Clearinghouse result are required. Additionally, all flatbed drivers must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice, as flatbed drivers tarp approximately 70% of our loads.
