The Child Welfare Case Manager is a pivotal role designed to provide full wrap-around case management services to clients and families. This position is about more than just managing cases; it is about establishing genuine relationships and living out the agency's core values every day. You will act as the integrator of all services and supports identified for each child, including therapy, mental health services, health and dental care, developmental services, and educational support.
In this role, you will collaborate with parents, Guardians Ad Litem, foster parents, and other pertinent parties to develop case plans aimed at reunification or other permanency for the child. You will navigate the complexities of the dependency court system, manage emergency placements, and facilitate parental and sibling visits. The work requires a high level of adaptability, as you will often be on the front lines, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in their primary residences and during transitions.
