A major academic medical center in Central New York is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a rapidly growing program. This role offers the unique opportunity to build specialized programs with flexible practice models and expanded development opportunities. You will join a team of four other Intensivists and a growing child psychiatry division of over 10 faculty members, all focused on strong growth and quality care.
In this position, you will have input into your future from day one. The role combines multiple models of care, allowing you to teach medical students and residents in a team-based environment. You can expect to see an average of 8-10 patients daily, supported by residents, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and social work. The position also offers paid volunteer call scheduling and potential leadership opportunities based on your skills and background. J1 and H1B visa consideration is available.
