About the Role
This full-time, exempt Medical Director / Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist role reports directly to the President & CEO. The position is designed to balance high-impact clinical care with strategic leadership. You will dedicate a minimum of 20 hours per week to direct patient care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, treatment planning, and consultations on complex cases.
The remainder of your time will be dedicated to clinical leadership, supervision, documentation review, quality improvement, compliance, program development, and community engagement. This is a fully outpatient role based in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with clinic hours typically running Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasionally extending to 6:00 PM. Notably, there are no inpatient responsibilities and no traditional call requirements, meaning no nights, weekends, or holiday coverage.
