Mentoring Alliance exists to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, providing tangible help and eternal hope. Our team includes teachers, youth workers, teen workers, college students, and mentors who serve and develop children in our community programs. As a Christian ministry, we are dedicated to offering exceptional after-school care and activities that foster growth and faith.
We are seeking ministry-minded individuals to join our After School team as a Child Care Worker. This non-exempt, part-time position averages 17-20 hours per week, typically running Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
The primary purpose of this role is to foster youth development by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. You will be first and foremost a Minister of the Gospel, with the chance to have an eternal impact and serve as a role model to children in your community. We are looking for someone devoted to excellence and wholeheartedness, dedicated to helping kids reach their full potential.
To ensure the safety and well-being of the children we serve, all candidates must pass a mandatory background and sex offender check. Additionally, you must be able to earn CPR/First Aid certification. A valid driver's license or ID and dependable transportation are required, as is legal authorization to work in the United States.
As a Christian ministry, we require all team members to agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith. We value Spanish-speaking ability and look for candidates with a genuine passion for working with elementary-aged children. Whether you are a high school graduate, college student, or experienced youth worker, your desire to influence and serve the community is what matters most.
